About Me

My name is Erin. My dad had a life-altering stroke on June 15, 2024. It changed not only his life significantly, but mine too. I am a busy professional, a wife, a mom to three kids, and now... a caregiver. Our medical system is designed to treat the patient. My dad has received excellent medical treatment and rehabilitation. However, strokes, especially debilitating ones, impact the entire family. As a new caregiver, I received little to no support. I share my stories about stepping into a caregiving role to help fill a void. The caregiving journey can be scary, stressful, and isolating. Stroke Stories is here to let you know you are not alone.
